Design Portland is pleased to present a survey of Portland ambition: bold designs and visions for the city and beyond that never came to be.
More than 40 leading local architecture firms will present the best of their unbuilt work. In addition, design Portland will feature visions from portland’s past: Edward bennet’s 1932 plan to re-envision Portland in the City Beautiful movement; Skidmore Owings Merrill’s Delta Dome,” a 40,000-seat stadium in Delta park, GGM’s radical re-envisioning of Mt. Tabor Park, and many more.
